Women are still passed over for promotions, paid less for the same work, dismissed in meetings, underrepresented in boardrooms and on screens. Sexism, ageism and bias against women are not relics of the past. They are present, daily and systemic. Volta Women takes a clear position. Every title we carry is led by a female actress, or directed by a female director, and places women at the absolute centre of the narrative. We exist to showcase women doing the most interesting, complex and powerful work in the industry. Women carrying films. Women shaping narratives. Women behind the camera making the creative decisions that define how stories are told. This is not a niche. This is a correction.

We also celebrate male directors and creators who champion strong female leads and authentic women-forward stories. Volta Women is not about exclusion. It is about dedicating a space that has never existed before, one where women who make content and women who watch it finally come first.

Emerging FAST Distribution

We launch first across accessible FAST and connected TV ecosystems to validate audience demand quickly and cost-effectively. This stage prioritises reach, speed, and audience intelligence over premium placement.

Initial distribution includes emerging FAST platforms, CTV apps, and open OTT ecosystems including Roku, Fire TV, YouTube CTV, DistroTV, Channelbox, and regional FAST partners. Importantly, in the European market Samsung TV Plus represents an earlier and more accessible entry point than in the USA, meaning premium OEM placement can be secured at this stage rather than waiting for Tier 1.

With proven audience scale, retention, and monetisation performance, we move into the full suite of premium platform partnerships and top-tier connected TV distribution in the USA, including Samsung TV Plus at scale, premium OEM integrations, telecom bundles, and global distribution partnerships. In Europe, several of these relationships are established earlier given the more accessible market structure.
